28 days in Europe/Egypt...Priceless!

Looking at my Mastercard statement, I realize this trip is going to cost us a small fortune. For those travelling abroad in the future, a look at flights might help you get an idea of costs...

1. Air Canada (Van-Paris/Munich-Van) $1091

2. MyAir (Paris-Genoa) $95

3. AirBerlin (Nice-Munich) $95

4. TuiFly (Munich-Cairo) $370

5. Egypt Air (Luxor-Sharm El Sheikh) $39

6. Egypt Air (Sharm El Sheikh-Cairo) $40

Holy crap, that's already $1730 each on flights alone! At the rate we're going, Andy's going to have to get a second job for sure...hehe From the looks of it, I'm going to be sick of flying at the end of this!

The Plan: May 19 to June 16th

So most of you guys know that Andy and I are heading off on a well deserved holiday. It's been three long years since we went to Europe for my sister's wedding, our last major vacation. Here's what the game plan looks like:

- Paris, France (4 days)
- Genoa, Italy (1.5 days)
- Cinque Terre, Italy (3 days)
- Nice, France with day trips to Cannes and Monaco (3 days)
- Munich, Germany to meet Dee & Tino (1.5 days)
- Cairo, Egypt (2 days)
- Aswan, Egypt (2 days)
- Luxor, Egypt (2 days)
- Sharm El Sheikh, Egypt (2 days)
- Dahab, Egypt (3 days)
- Munich, Germany to recover (3 days)

That's a whole lot of travel in the 29 days we're gone! We have our 2 major flights with Air Canada, 2 inter-Europe flights, 1 overnight train in Egypt, and 3 flights in Egypt! Just typing that makes me tired already! With that said, I can't wait to go!

To blog or not to blog...

So I've decided to try my hand at this blogging stuff. My hope is that this is going to save me some time with emails, but I highly doubt it. This first post is already taking me forever! Anyway, just bare with me. If I blog about my holidays you'll only have to hear me yack about it once...lucky you!
